SRVHS Class of 2020 Graduation

May 6, 2020

Dear San Ramon Valley Unified School District Senior Class of 2020,

We are writing to share details of our upcoming graduation celebrations. We are excited to announce the SRVUSD Senior Class of 2020 Memory Drive! This event will give students and their families an opportunity to drive through their campus one last time, be cheered on by staff, and be congratulated by their site principal. Based on recommendations from officials at the Contra Costa County Department of Public Health, we will be holding this event on June 2, 2020. School sites will provide information with more details about the Memory Drive in the days and weeks to come. We also continue to plan for our virtual graduation ceremony on May 29th at 6 p.m. and are looking forward to holding an additional in-person graduation event when we are legally and safely able to do so.

Senior Class of 2020 Memory Drive

We do not have any new information on our in-person event yet, but like you, we cannot wait to be able to celebrate our Class of 2020 in person. While we do not anticipate any changes, all events that involve contact of any kind are subject to current Contra Costa County Department of Public Health orders in place when events are scheduled.

Please visit our Graduation 2020 webpage for additional information.

We are asking that you read through the following information and complete all tasks no later than Monday May 11th so that we can ensure that all seniors are able to participate in our virtual ceremony.

Last week, you received a letter from Superintendent Schmitt describing our commitment to hold an in-person event for the senior Class of 2020 when we are safely able to do so. We do not have any additional information to share about that right now, but we are excited for the future possibilities and look forward to even more celebrating!

For now, here is what you need to know:

  • You will be receiving a link via email from with directions on how to access the virtual graduation portal

  • Log in to the portal to complete the requirements to participate in the virtual ceremony.

    • Among other tasks, you will need to upload a cap and gown picture or senior portrait. Professional photos are okay for this purpose.
